Patrol: Ohio turnpike stop nets $2M drug bust

PERRYSBURG, Ohio (AP) — State troopers say they discovered $2 million worth of cocaine and heroin during a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike.

Two California men are now facing possession and trafficking charges after the stop near Toledo.

The State Highway Patrol says troopers stopped a tractor-trailer the men were riding in Monday.

Troopers say a drug-sniffing canine alerted them to the drugs found in the cab of the truck. Troopers say they found 42 pounds of cocaine and two pounds of heroin.
