VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) — People who have given their bodies to science are being honored in Vermillion.
The University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and the School of Health Sciences is holding a memorial service Friday afternoon.
This is the ninth year of the gathering that honors family members by recognizing the contribution of their loved ones.
Students from the medical, physician assistant, occupational therapy and physical therapy programs as well as faculty and staff will share testimonials and show their appreciation to families.
