CINCINNATI (AP) — A prosecutor is announcing a guilty plea in a vehicular homicide case caused by a truck wheel that hit another driver's windshield.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said Monday that Paul Lallier has submitted a written guilty plea to misdemeanor counts of vehicular homicide and obstructing justice in 22-year-old Dylan Morrison's March 2011 death.
Deters says a hearing will be set for a judge to accept Lallier's plea and sentence him.
Deters says a drop set of axels dropped from the dump trailer of the truck the 64-year-old Lallier was driving and lost an improperly bolted wheel. The West Chester victim died at the scene.
Deters says Lallier stopped briefly before driving to the trucking company he worked for to replace the tire.
Lallier's attorney didn't immediately return a call.
