Imprisoned Ohio man indicted for double homicide

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A man serving a long prison term for a 2011 Columbus slaying has been indicted on charges of fatally shooting two men the previous year.

Levander Davis faces two counts of murder and a count of having a weapon under disability in Franklin County Common Pleas Court in connection with the 2010 double slaying on the east side of Columbus.

The 33-year-old Davis is serving 15 years to life in Allen Correctional Institution for murder and attempted murder convictions for a 2011 fatal bar shooting that also injured a man.

Records also show Davis was released from prison in 2010 following an involuntary manslaughter conviction in 1999.

Online court records don't show an attorney for Davis.
