No sign of criminal activity in fatal Ohio fire

BRIDGEPORT, Ohio (AP) — Investigators say there is no indication of criminal activity in a weekend fire that killed three children in eastern Ohio and injured two more people.

The state fire marshal's office said Tuesday it has completed its on-site investigation at the burned apartment building in the Belmont County village of Bridgeport. But investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the Sunday fire.

Fire marshal's spokesman Michael Duchesne (doo-SHAYN') says the identities and ages of the victims have not been released.

A message left for the Belmont County coroner's office wasn't immediately returned Tuesday.
