FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — A small plane has crashed into a parking lot near a South Florida airport.
Television news footage shows that the plane crashed on the side of a building and came down at a parking lot Friday afternoon near the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
Fort Lauderdale fire rescue crews were responding. Emergency officials didn't immediately return calls for comment.
It wasn't immediately clear how many people were in the plane or if anyone on the ground was injured.
