COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police say a Columbus man is dead following a morning shooting on the city's near east side.
William Moore, 20, was shot at Wheatland Food Market on Mt. Vernon Ave. at about 11 a.m. Friday in what authorities believe was a drug-related incident. Moore was transported to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead within the hour.
It is the city's 15th homicide this year.
Authorities are seeking further information on the incident.
