CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) — Another skunk has tested positive for rabies in southeast Missouri.

That brings to five animals — four skunks and a horse — that have tested positive for rabies since January, all in the southeastern part of the state.

The Southeast Missourian (http://bit.ly/ZN9iNM ) reports that the latest incident was announced Thursday by the Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center. The skunk was found in the northwest part of the county and there was no known exposure to humans or other animals.
