PHOENIX (AP) — Jodi Arias is set to return to the witness stand for an 18th day of testimony in her Arizona death penalty trial.

Arias is charged with first-degree murder in the June 2008 killing of her lover in his suburban Phoenix home. Authorities say she planned the attack on Travis Alexander in a jealous rage, but Arias says it was self-defense.

She resumes testimony Wednesday.

Last week, jurors made it clear they aren't satisfied with her explanations of why she killed Alexander, then methodically covered her tracks and can't recall much of anything from the day.

Arias answered about 220 questions from the panel under an uncommon Arizona law that allows jurors to quiz defendants through written questions read aloud by the judge. A prosecutor is now questioning her again.
