PITTSBURGH (AP) — A man nicknamed the "Bucket List Bandit" by the FBI after he allegedly told a Utah bank teller that he had just four months to live is scheduled to change his not guilty plea to a northwestern Pennsylvania bank robbery — one of 11 he's suspected of committing in 10 states.
Federal prosecutors in Erie on Tuesday charged Michael Eugene Brewster, formerly of Pensacola, Fla., with the other 10 heists, but it wasn't immediately clear if he'll be pleading no contest or guilty to those robberies, too, on Wednesday. Federal prosecutors and Brewster's public defender haven't returned emailed requests for comment.
Until the new charges were filed Tuesday, Brewster had been formally charged only with the Sept. 10 Huntingdon National Bank heist in Erie, the last he's charged with committing before his arrest three days later in Oklahoma.
