LYONS, Ohio (AP) — A 22-year-old man has been killed after his pickup truck collided with a truck pulling an empty tanker.
The Toledo Blade reports (bit.ly/13SEpx8) that Andrew Emery of Adrian, Mich., was pronounced dead following the crash at about 5:15 p.m. Monday. The driver of the truck, Robert Hightower, was not hurt.
Troopers say Emery failed to yield for a stop sign and struck the rear tandem axle of Hightower's rig. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
