PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The Rhode Island Statehouse will be lit yellow for a week to mark "Endometriosis Awareness Month."
The lights will be lit at around 6:45 p.m. Monday. They'll go all week until March 18.
The Endometriosis Foundation of Rhode Island was founded by a Lincoln woman who was diagnosed in 2010 with the often painful disorder, which affects the uterus. Endometriosis affects 5.5 million women in the United States.
