Jeb Bush: Political reporters 'crack addicts'

Sunday March 10, 2013 2:45 PM

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush compares journalists to "crack addicts" and "heroin addicts" for asking about the 2016 presidential campaign.

Bush was asked Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" who is more likely to win the White House — himself or Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio.

Bush said to host David Gregory, quote, "Man, you guys are crack addicts. You really are obsessed with all this politics."

Gregory replied he had never been compared to a crack addict. Bush asked if "heroin addict" was a better comparison.

Bush, son and brother of former presidents, appeared on all five political morning shows to promote his new book.
