YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio grand jury has indicted a man and his ex-girlfriend in the alleged slaying of the woman's 14-year-old son and abuse of her other two children.

The (Youngstown) Vindicator (http://bit.ly/10o93NY) reports that the Mahoning County grand jury on Thursday charged 43-year-old Zaryl Bush with multiple counts including murder, felonious assault and endangering children.

His former girlfriend, 32-year-old Shain Widdersheim, was indicted on charges of involuntary manslaughter, child endangering and obstructing justice.

Widdersheim was the mother of Teddy Foltz. Prosecutors believe Bush beat the slight teen sometime in January, leading to his death. His mother is accused of failing to protect him from the abuse.

Bush and Widdersheim are in the county jail with high bonds. Records did not list attorneys for them.
