KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) — Construction of a bigger Department of Veterans Affairs clinic in Kingman to provide medical care to military veterans is expected to be finished by October.

The Kingman Daily Miner (http://bit.ly/15TeDZ0 ) reports that the Department of Veterans Affairs has chosen Cottonwood Industrial to build the new clinic.

The new building would have nearly 10,000 square feet of usable space, compared with approximately 6,200 in the current clinic.

The VA says the added space will allow it to provide more medical services, including cardiology and dermatology services, through use of video teleconferencing.
