CINCINNATI (AP) — Cincinnati police say they've arrested a 19-year-old man in the weekend slaying of a 17-year-old high school student.
Police said Dierres Lee was arrested Monday night and charged with the murder of Justin Brown, a student at La Salle High School. Investigators believe it was a drug deal that went bad.
WCPO-TV (http://bit.ly/WmXAaN ) says Brown and three other students attempted to buy drugs on a west side street Sunday night. Lee allegedly shot at the high school students' vehicle after they gave him fake money and tried to drive away from the scene. Brown, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was hit in the head.
He died later at a hospital.
