DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say the suspect in a southwest Ohio slaying recently got out of prison after serving nearly two decades for murder.

The Dayton Daily News (http://bit.ly/YrcNuL ) reports that 39-year-old Dameon Lareese Wesley is being sought in connection with a shooting Sunday in Dayton that left one person dead and another wounded.

Police have released few details of the incident.

The newspaper says Wesley was sentenced to prison in April 1994 after pleading guilty to killing his former roommate. He is on parole after serving 18 years behind bars.

Sunday's slaying was the sixth in Dayton in one week. A 26-year-old man was fatally shot while sitting in a car in the city Saturday night.
