CINCINNATI (AP) — Employees of a consumer-data company plan to make the site of their new headquarters in downtown Cincinnati a little easier on the eyes during construction.
Nearly 60 employees of dunnhumbyUSA and their families will spend Saturday weaving recycled material into a colorful pattern on the chain-link fence surrounding the construction site in the heart of downtown next to a Macy's and a Saks Fifth Avenue.
Construction began Jan. 31 on the new $122 million, nine-story headquarters.
DunnhumbyUSA says it hopes decorating the fence around the project makes the site more visually appealing and transforms strips of reclaimed industrial bags into a functional work of art.
DunnhumbyUSA analyzes consumer habits for companies like Macy's, Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola.
The company is a joint venture of Cincinnati-based Kroger and London-based dunnhumby.
