COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police say they have arrested the man who dropped off a wounded man at a Columbus hospital, where he later died.
Reports said 23-year-old Antonio Evans has been charged with tampering with evidence. Investigators are still working to determine where the shooting occurred, and no one has been charged with it.
Police said a car dropped off 25-year-old Tony Walton at the entrance to Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Walton had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body, and he died about two hours later.
Police said Evans' vehicle was spotted at a hotel, and he was arrested without incident Thursday night. His attorney information wasn't available Friday.
