MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A Minot-based hospital system is lifting some restrictions it placed on visitors to its hospital and nursing home following a flu outbreak.

The Minot Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/13oqxGd) that Trinity Health is lifting its visitor restrictions at Trinity Hospital and Trinity Hospital-St. Joseph's. The hospital system had put the restrictions in place a month ago following an outbreak of the flu.

The restrictions are still in effect at Trinity Homes.

Director of Nursing Jennifer Mitchell says people are still asked to refrain from visiting unless necessary. Visits are also restricted to immediate family members.
