Lake-effect snow blasting NE Ohio

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (AP) — Northeast Ohio is being blasted with lake-effect snow, closing many schools and snarling rush-hour traffic.

A lake-effect snow warning has been posted for Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties east of Cleveland until 7 p.m. Wednesday. Another 3 to 6 inches of snow is expected before it's all over.

Blowing snow was causing visibility problems for drivers Wednesday morning, and a jackknifed tractor-trailer caused delays on Interstate 90. Most of the schools in Lake County and some in the other counties were closed Wednesday.
