CINCINNATI (AP) — A prosecutor says an Ohio man already facing federal child pornography charges has been indicted on charges of raping an 11-month-old infant and a 9-year-old child.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters says a county grand jury on Tuesday indicted 38-year-old James O. Napier, of Cincinnati, on 11 rape counts. Napier could be sentenced to life in prison without parole if convicted of all charges.
A federal grand jury earlier indicted Napier on 20 counts of producing child pornography involving an 11-month old infant and an approximately 9-year old child. Federal authorities allege Napier was advertising the sale of child pornography on a website.
Deters says Tuesday's indictment charges Napier with the alleged sex acts relating to the federal charges.
Messages seeking comment were left for Napier's attorneys in both cases.
