Monday February 18, 2013 4:00 AM

MIAMI (AP) — A group of patients are planning a happy reunion as they gather to thank their cardiac surgeons and nurses at Miami Children's Hospital.

Hospital officials say the Heart Program cares for more children with congenital heart disorders than any other hospital in Florida.

A 20 year-old patient who recently moved here from Cuba and underwent corrective surgery will be reuniting with her surgeons for the first time. Children who have overcome congenital heart defects will also be reunited with their surgeons and will share their success stories during Monday's event.
