CLEVELAND (AP) — Libraries in Cincinnati and Cleveland and a museum in Columbus are finalists for a national award that honors community outreach.

The Institute of Museum and Library Services says three of the finalists for the National Medal for Museum and Library Services are from Ohio.

They are the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, the Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) County Public Library, and the Columbus Museum of Art.

The finalists are chosen from nominations nationwide. The winners will be announced this spring.
