Minor injuries in Hudson Valley school bus crash

KINGSTON, N.Y. (AP) — State police say six students and a motorist have been treated for minor injuries after a school bus accident in the Hudson Valley.

Troopers say a vehicle driven by Joanne Reith of Woodstock veered into the front of the oncoming bus carrying elementary school students at about 8:30 a.m. Friday in the town of Kingston.

They say Reith and the children were taken by ambulance to a hospital and released after being treated.

The students were later taken to school on another bus.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
