A spokesman for the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency says that so far, the only injury reports from tornadoes in Mississippi are three people injured in Marion County. But Greg Flynn says the problem is there is too much debris to get into many areas.
Flynn says it looks as if one tornado moved through all three counties.
He says the state is sending emergency equipment to Hattiesburg, and the McComb Fire Department has sent a six-person search and rescue team.
He says equipment going to Hattiesburg includes at least four truck-mounted and generator-powered light plants. He says each has four lights and can light up a good half-block each.
