Flights canceled. Schools canceled. Runs on gas stations and supermarkets. From New York to Maine, residents are bracing for a storm that could bring as much as 3 feet of snow.
"Wherever you need to get to, get there by Friday afternoon and don't plan on leaving," warned Alan Dunham, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service.
