DENVER (AP) — Police say two young children and woman were killed a third child was wounded in a shooting at a house in northeast Denver.
The wounded child is in critical condition at a local hospital.
A police spokesman says the shooting appeared to have been isolated and there's no indication a shooter is on the loose. Police are not saying whether it was a murder-suicide.
A neighbor says the house was recently remodeled and she saw a family of five -- two adults and three children -- move in about six months ago. She says they seemed like outgoing people and didn't bother anybody.
Another neighbor says she believed the man she saw at the house left for work this morning, before police swarmed the home.
