DALLAS, Pa. (AP) — Residents of a personal care home in northeastern Pennsylvania have been relocated due to damage the facility suffered when a water pipe burst over the weekend.

The pipe burst at Back Mountain Care Center Inc. in Dallas Township around 3 p.m. on Sunday, causing a partial ceiling collapse. Now, the facility's owners have to conduct repairs and pass inspections before it can reopen.

Fifty-nine residents were taken to a temporary shelter at a nearby middle school after evacuating. Now, officials say the residents have all been relocated either to other nursing homes or to the homes of family members.

The Citizens' Voice reports (http://bit.ly/Vts27Q ) Back Mountain Regional Emergency Management Coordinator Harry Vivian says the center will be closed at least a week and likely longer.
