BOARDMAN, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say a woman rescued from a northeast Ohio apartment fire died later at a hospital.

Fire officials say 45-year-old Shawna Carney was unconscious when she was rescued from the Monday morning blaze at the three-story building in Boardman, near Youngstown. She died later Monday.

The cause of the fire — which appeared to start in a bedroom of one of the third-floor units — still hasn't been determined. Everyone else got out OK, and there were no other injuries. About half of the building's 36 units were damaged.

Details of the woman's injuries weren't available.

It was the second fatal fire in the region in four days. On Friday night, a woman in Howland died in a fire at her home.
