BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — Borislav Milosevic, the brother of late Serbian strongman Slobodan Milosevic, has died aged 79.

The Socialist Party says Milosevic, who was the Yugoslav ambassador in Russia while his brother was in power during the 1990s, died of heart problems Tuesday at a Belgrade hospital,

Borislav was a supporter of his brother's hardline policies, and a staunch critic of the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands, which tried Slobodan on genocide charges stemming from the Balkan wars of the 1990s.

He repeatedly accused the U.N. court of being responsible for the death of his brother, who suffered a heart attack in his cell in 2006.

Borislav was recalled as ambassador after Slobodan Milosevic was ousted from power in 2000.
