Southwest Ohio man arrested in serial rape case

CINCINNATI (AP) — A southwestern Ohio man is being charged in a serial rape case involving three women and a 15-year-old girl.

Thirty-nine-year-old Tony Pippin of Colerain is facing 21 felony charges, including rape, sexual battery, assault and pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

Pippin's Cincinnati attorney, Seth Tieger (TEE'-gur), did not immediately return a call for comment Monday.

Pippin already was in custody on unrelated robbery charges when he submitted voluntarily to a DNA test in hopes of becoming a police informant. Authorities say his DNA connects him to three rapes and an attempted rape in Delhi (DEHL'-heye) Township just west of Cincinnati.

Three women were attacked in separate incidents between April and September after leaving the same Delhi Township bar. Authorities say the teen was raped inside Pippin's home.
