COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (AP) — Authorities are reaching out to drivers whose vehicles were towed after a massive pileup on a highway near a Cincinnati suburb.

At least 86 vehicles were involved in Monday's crash on Interstate 275 near Colerain Township. The Hamilton County sheriff's office said a 12-year-old girl died following the collisions, and at least 20 people were taken to hospitals. Their injuries were not expected to be life-threatening.

Sheriff's spokesman Jim Knapp (nap) said Tuesday authorities were sorting out where the vehicles were towed and contacting owners with information about retrieving those vehicles.

Knapp said it took authorities about seven hours to clear the vehicles and wreckage.

The crash was one of at least four pileups Monday that snared dozens of vehicles.
