COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Columbus police say they are still looking for the person who fatally shot a 15-year-old boy during an after-school fight involving a large group of students.

Police said ninth-grader Kaewaun Coleman was pronounced dead at a hospital soon after the 3 p.m. Thursday shooting. It happened soon after a group of students left a nearby high school together and an altercation began near a McDonald's restaurant where police found the injured teen.

Police said 50 or so teens from nearby Linden-McKinley High School were involved. They are interviewing students and other people who might have witnessed the incident.

There were no reports of trouble at the high school before the shooting occurred.
