COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio Gov. John Kasich (KAY'-sik) will deliver his annual State of the State speech in Lima, taking the annual address outside the capital city for the second year in a row.

The Lima News reports (http://bit.ly/SWbm85) that Kasich has selected the city, about 100 miles west of Columbus for the traditional joint legislative session that will require lawmakers, Supreme Court justices, Cabinet officials and statewide officeholders to make the trip.

Kasich made history last year by taking the annual address on the road for the first time in modern memory with a speech in eastern Ohio's Steubenville. Justices were unable to attend because court was in session, and some statewide officeholders and legislators either couldn't or chose not to go.
