COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The state Attorney General's Office is investigating a second rape allegation in the far eastern Ohio city where two high school football players are charged with raping a teenage girl in August.

Attorney General spokeswoman Jill Del Greco says the allegation in the second report dates to April, and no one has been charged. The office and police in Steubenville (STOO'-behn-vihl) aren't commenting on details of that allegation, including whether it involves teenagers or has any link to the other case.

The April case was reported to police in September, the month after the allegations against the football players were made.

The investigation into the August case has drawn international attention through the work of bloggers and hacker-activists who allege a cover-up and argue others should have been charged.
