Missing Philadelphia girl found just outside city

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police say a 5-year-old girl who was taken from a Philadelphia school has been found safe just outside the city.

Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says a man walking down the street early Tuesday heard cries for help and found Nailla Robinson hiding under a jungle gym in a nearby park. He says she's been taken to the hospital to be checked out, but that she's OK.

The investigation is continuing.

Police say Robinson was taken Monday morning from the Bryant School in west Philadelphia. Police say the woman introduced herself as "Tiffany," but her signature in the school visitor log was illegible.

Police discovered that the girl was missing at about 3 p.m. Monday when a caretaker from the child's after-school program came to pick her up.
