PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon State Medical Examiner says a woman whose body was found in North Portland's Peninsula Park died from hypothermia.

The woman, 63-year-old Wendy Marie Loren, lived in North Portland and police detectives believe she either got lost or confused while taking a walk. They say she was not properly dressed for the freezing weather.

Portland Parks & Recreation staff found Loren's body Monday near a maintenance shed.
