FLINT, Mich. (AP) — A Flint hospital is to unveil a wall honoring organ donors.

MLive.com reports (http://bit.ly/W0aHPm ) Monday that the wall will be adjacent to the chapel at Hurley Medical Center and feature photos of organ donors.

The ceremony is scheduled for Friday morning. Funding was provided by the Gift of Life Foundation.

Gift of Life Michigan chief executive Richard Pietroski says the wall "is a beautiful tribute to organ, eye and tissue donors who gave new life so others can live."

Hurley Medical Center was recognized in October for its work with organ donation. The hospital also has won multiple U.S. Organ Donation Medals of Honor from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
