NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Fire Department says 10 to 15 people are being evaluated for possible injuries after a ferry struck a dock during rush hour in lower Manhattan.

News reports say the Seastreak ferry from Atlantic Highlands, N.J., banged into the mooring as it arrived in Manhattan. Some patients were carried away on gurneys to waiting ambulances.

It occurred around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at South Street.
