TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The mother of one of four women fatally shot inside a Tulsa apartment says her daughter was staying with a friend as she tried to get her life back together.

Misty Nunley was found dead Monday, along with 23-year-old twin sisters Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Melchor, and 55-year-old Julie Jackson.

No arrests have been made, and investigators have released no other details — including possible suspects or how the women knew each other.

But Nunley's mother, Cheryl Nunley, said Tuesday her 33-year-old daughter was staying with Powell on and off for the past week. She spoke with her Monday and doesn't know why anyone would want to hurt her.

Tulsa police spokesman Leland Ashley says detectives have no clear suspects or motive. He urged anyone with information to come forward.
