W.Va. immunization program receives federal funds

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The federal government is providing $920,849 to West Virginia to maintain the state's immunization program.

U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin announced the funding from the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases on Monday.

The state program is operated by the Department of Health and Human Resources.
