Frontier adds Columbus, Ohio-Trenton, NJ, route

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Frontier Airlines says its returning service to a central Ohio airport with a nonstop flight to New Jersey beginning this spring.

Frontier said Monday the airline will offer three weekly nonstop flights from Port Columbus International Airport in Ohio's capital to Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing, N.J., beginning on April 8.

Introductory fares are as low as $29 each way through Jan. 23.

David Whitaker of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority said he expects the route to serve as an alternative access point to Philadelphia and New York.
