COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Franklin County deputies have identified the victims of two auto accidents on New Year's Day as a 24-year-old Pickerington man and a 58-year-old Columbus woman.

The Columbus Dispatch reports (bit.ly/S50rZn) that investigators believe Jacob A. Zang was killed in a hit-and-run accident about a mile from Port Columbus. His body was found on the ground at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say Mary Swank was driving on Interstate 270 at around 9:15 p.m. when her SUV struck a guardrail just south of Route 40 in western Franklin County.
