PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — Police have identified one of the nine people killed in a bus crash off a rural Oregon highway as a 57-year-old Washington man.

Oregon State Police said Tuesday that Dale William Osborn of Spanaway, Wash., died in the Sunday crash and his wife, Sue Osborn, remained hospitalized in Pendleton.

Authorities have not yet released the names of the other eight people who died. Police said all were of Asian descent, including four men and four women.

The bus was returning to Vancouver, British Columbia on the final leg of a nine-day tour of the western United States when it pierced a guard rail and careened 200 feet down an embankment.
