SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (AP) — Clark County sheriffs have arrested a 32-year-old man and charged him with robbing a drug store.

Authorities say Beau Franks will be arraigned Wednesday on a charge of aggravated robbery. His hometown was not given.

A store clerk told the sheriff's office that a man came into the Rite Aid store in Bethel Township just after 1:30 p.m. Sunday, demanding money. When she didn't give it, the man said he had a gun and threatened to shoot her.

The clerk said she handed over money from the cash register, which the man grabbed before running out. He dropped two $20 bills and deputies used a K-9 dog to help track him. Franks was found at a local hardware store on an unrelated matter.

Franks could not be reached for comment.
