DOVER, Del. (AP) — Two Delaware day care workers charged with encouraging and videotaping a fight between two 3-year-old boys have pleaded guilty to assault and conspiracy charges.

Estefania Myers and Lisa Parker appeared in court Wednesday. The judge sentenced Myers to 10 years in prison but suspended the sentence for one year of probation, during which she cannot work or volunteer in a day care. Parker's sentencing is Jan. 30.

A third co-defendant has been offered the same plea deal. Her trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday.

Police say the cellphone video shows one child screaming and crying while being punched by the other, who also is punched and shoved into a table. Investigators say the day care workers are shown and heard laughing and encouraging the March altercation at a Dover center.
