PORT CLINTON, Ohio (AP) — A northern Ohio wildlife park says it has been having trouble with all-terrain vehicles scaring its giraffes, camels, zebras and llamas.

Operators of the African Safari Wildlife Park near Port Clinton say the ATV riders have been cutting through the alfalfa fields where food is raised for the collection of exotic animals

A spokeswoman for wildlife park says the noisy machines are upsetting the animals.

The News Herald of Port Clinton (http://ohne.ws/TFTm00) reports that police officers have talked with those who have been on the property and they don't think anyone was trying to bother the animals.

The park is now closed for the winter.
