BRUNSWICK, Ohio (AP) — Police outside Cleveland say a 30-hour standoff is over with one man dead.

Authorities in Brunswick say the standoff that began Friday afternoon ended Saturday night, but not many details are being released.

Police say a 39-year-old man died from gunshot wounds and his former girlfriend was injured.

Brunswick police say they got a call from the man's brother who told them the 39 year-old was going to a home to hurt his ex-girlfriend.

Police and SWAT members surrounded the house and evacuated neighbors after finding the front door barricaded.
