OXNARD, Calif. (AP) — Gean Farm Inc is recalling their Harry's Berries salsa and dill beans because they may have improperly produced and making them susceptible to contamination.

The Oxnard, Calif.-based company made the announcement Friday. No illnesses have been linked to any of the affected products.

The company said in a release the products were susceptible to contamination with clostridium botulinum. Ingestion of botulism toxin from improperly processed jarred and canned foods may lead to serious illness or even death.

The salsa, both mild and hot versions, and dill beans were available for purchase in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties.

Consumers who have purchased either item are urged to throw them away or return them for a refund.
